Developer  MLG  Capital  of Wisconsin  has  hired   Brandy Marine of Sarasota to manage the  Ortega  River Boat Yard in Jacksonville. 
    MLG recently bought the 80-year-old marina on the  Ortega River,  a   tributary   of   the  St. Johns River. 
    Brandy   had   conducted  a marketing study and financial

analysis  based  on upgrades and   new    facilities   for   the  marina,   popularly   know   as "ORBY."   Improvement  plans include   75   upscale   condo-miniums and a club house.
    Existing docks with 235 wet slips    will    be   replaced   by floating  docks  with  200 slips configured  to   accommodate longer and wider vessels.

    Brandy  has already installed an  onsite   management  team brought  in  from  its  marina  at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, S.C.   Captain   Kristopher   W. Schmid   is  the   harbormaster. Amy   P. Garner   will  serve  as office and financial manager.
